Meet the Team

Each team member has over ten years of experience, and one of them is in the clinic almost every business day. They help care for the 95% of people who do not require surgical care in our practice. Together they see over 1,200 patients and assist with over 200 spine cases with Dr. Paul every year. Having reputations in the medical community for being caring and knowledgeable, it’s not unusual for physicians and nurses to seek advice from them.

Kevin Wright has over 15 years of experience as an orthopedic PA and has been working with Dr. Paul since 2013.

He has a keen interest in minimally invasive techniques, and has helped proctor other mid-levels and surgeons on new approaches in this field. In his practice, Kevin emphasizes patient education and a mutual agreement and understanding of the treatment plan. Although Kevin uses your imaging studies as a guide towards understanding the diagnosis, the emphasis is always on meeting individual needs, minimizing pain while maximizing quality of life, as we say he “treats people, not images”.

Kevin is very patient and makes every attempt to answer your questions on each visit. His team feels that spending extra time in the office for teaching goes a long way in patient care. He continually works on building relationships with patients. He especially enjoys the final post-surgical visit, when patients get to look back and see how much progress they have made. After meeting Kevin you will quickly realize he loves his job, and loves working on Dr. Paul’s team. Kevin is part of Edward Hospital Spine Steering committee with an emphasis on educating floor and OR staff. Kevin is in constant collaboration with nurses and OR staff in a consistent effort to improve patient outcomes and experiences. Kevin has a passion for caring that is palpable.

Certified Physician AssistantSienna Kotch, PA-C

https://paulspine.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/certified-physicians-assistant.png

Sienna Kotch is a Certified PA-C working hand in hand with Dr. Paul to provide the highest level of patient care and experience.

My goal in my practice is to make sure that the patient fully understands their diagnosis, what their treatment options are, and the reasoning behind these treatment options. When the patient is aware of the thought process behind their treatment they are able to make educated decisions about their own health and feel more comfortable going forward. I want all of my patients to know that they have a say in their treatment and that their health is in their hands as well. Open communication throughout the visit is key to the patient being heard and having a full understanding of their treatment plan ahead of them.

Clinical Interests

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar health and stability along with radicular pain and symptoms.

Personal Interests

I love getting to spend time with my family back in Michigan as well as enjoying my time with friends. I love a good game night or heading to the movies and going out to eat. I love traveling and exploring a new city for the first time. I enjoy the outdoors, scary movies, and a good book.

Adam Mollsen has been with Dr. Paul and The Spine Center since 2009.

Well educated in general spine health as well as minimally invasive techniques, he has helped proctor other mid-levels and surgeons on novel methods of treatment. His approach is team-oriented and he aims to treat patients like his own family. He feels the education of patients is paramount to optimal recovery. Adam believes that knowledge is power, and educating patients to be active participants in their own healthcare gives them the tools they need to achieve the best possible results from their therapies.

He looks at every patient as an individual and focuses on treating the person, not just imaging studies and tests. He is part of Edward Hospital Spine Steering committee educating floor and OR staff, trying always to better patient outcomes and experiences. He strives to remain current in all relevant healthcare processes and to maintain an open line of communication between both patients and providers. Adam Mollsen is a leader among his peers helping to drive spine care forward.
